Some typical course layouts we use at the ARCYRC

SW Course

Most common course in Summer is this SW course. Windward mark is around 60 to 70m from the bank.

In each of these images the distance between top and bottom marks is 100m.

Northerly Course

Start at the bottom and finish at the top. Wing mark is typically about 60m from the bank. With the elevation of about 2 metres above the water, judging the mark rounding is not difficult.

NW Course

When wind is from NW we move South to the next beach. There is still good elevation from the bank.

Southerly Course

Usually just 2 laps up and back. Very easy to judge all roundings with no mark further than about 50m from the shore.
